Nitrous Oxide

- This offer applies to nitrous oxide (happy gas) inhalation sedation only. It does not include IV sedation or any other form of sedation.
- Nitrous oxide is contraindicated for pregnant patients. Please contact your OBGYN if you wish to discuss other sedation options.
- Patients who have had recent eye surgery must wait at least 6 weeks before receiving nitrous oxide sedation.
- The free happy gas offer is valid for first-time patients only.
- The use of sedation is at the sole discretion of the attending dentist, based on the patient’s medical history and individual circumstances.
- Nitrous oxide sedation is contraindicated for:
- Patients unable to breathe through their nose (patients breathing through one nostril may require higher doses).
- Psychiatric patients.
- Claustrophobic patients.
- Severely phobic or cognitively impaired patients.
- Patients with compulsive personalities.
- Crying or congested patients with a snotty nose.
