One of the least invasive and cost-effective methods to restoring the health of a tooth, when caught reasonably early, is a tooth filling.
Before the filling is applied, the decayed tooth material first is removed, and the area cleaned.
Whilst this is a fairly straight forward procedure in principal, it does need to be done properly to retain the long-term health of the filled tooth.
Trust the highly trained, skilled and experienced dentists at Dentistry Plus to get things right from the start.

Natural looking white fillings
White filling material blends with your natural tooth colour and does not stand out like unsightly silver filling material. Other advantages include:
- The material does not contain any mercury.
- The white filling material has properties that resemble that of your tooth, allowing it to flex together with your tooth.
White fillings look cleaner, last longer and prevent your teeth from forming cracks.
However, if you have existing mercury amalgams, we will likely advise you to keep them unless they are causing problems, or if we have any concerns.
